Second Blog asking for donations to the Survivors of Storm Sandy

“Whatever a man has in superabundance is owed, of natural right, to the poor for their sustenance. So Ambrosius says, and it is also to be found in the Decretum Gratiani: ‘The bread which you withhold belongs to the hungry: the clothing you shut away, to the naked: and the money you bury in the earth is the redemption and freedom of the penniless.’”
— St Thomas Aquinas (Summa Theologica, 1274 CE)

I wrote a blog in the beginning of last week, I copied some wording, a poem and the event link, and all that came across to the new post was Michael Jackson Song, We Are The World.

I thought it was ironic, a song about We are one came across with the mouse to be pasted into a new post to  promote the event that the gracious Author Dawn White   and Brandy Schaefer Dull https://www.facebook.com/events/172034662936585/   started on November 6th, to ask for Donations from Indie Authors and others to be auction off on November 16th to individuals who pay a pledge to the American Red Cross and come back to Dawn and Brandy with a receipt and the merchandise will be shipped to the purchaser.  This was a tiny light spark that has grown into a bonfire, and I am a New State resident and know the devastation these survivors are suffering through from the tri-state to the Caribbean and other places that were struck by the Storm Sandy. Then a week later by the Northeaster, and some people were hit again, and even today 13 days later and they are still suffering. And want and I know others would like to let them we appreciated their contributions very much and want to say Thank You.

Even today some are still living with out electricity, no water and are homeless. This storm wiped out allot of people's lives existences  Their homes, personal items and even they lost loved ones. This is a tragic event and to surf around Facebook and other sites it does a heart good to see the generosity that is being shared by all diversity and all ages of people, from authors, to readers, professionals to the at home parents.

There are other groups too on Facebook who are contributing their time and energies to help the survivors, like the generous reader who will review books in a book-a-thon for donations to be sent to the American Red Cross. https://www.facebook.com/events/459575317417923/ by https://www.facebook.com/purplerose, kudos to her and all the others who thought that the many was more important then the one. These individuals are dedicating 24 hours a day in their hearts to assist strangers.

I been craving to find beauty and looking through the art sites, like squiddoo http://www.squidoo.com and Deviant Art, http://www.deviantart.com/and oo and ah over the artwork. But the most beautiful gift is right in front of our eyes, humanity, compassionate and loving hearts. So please take a moment out of your busy schedule this week and check out the two links, one for the Auction on November 16th  https://www.facebook.com/events/172034662936585/, and make a donation or just give kudos to all the generous hearts out there.

Give support and kudos to the Read-A-Thon,  Purplerose, see her real name when you go to link, thank you and it was an awesome idea. https://www.facebook.com/events/459575317417923/

They are no words in the English or any language how to express gratitude and love to another then to do a kind deed and know someone will not go hungry, thirst or be cold tonight because you, not someone eles took a moment, and click on the American Red Cross link and contribute funds to help the survivors into  having hope for a brighter tomorrow. http://www.redcross.org/ the links for donations.

If I left someone out, who are helping,  please let me know, and I be glad to update the blog.

I was thinking maybe I or others maybe could find artistry links and put pictures as a bundle so authors have a  selection of artwork to be selected for covers and of course credited the artists in the author's dedication or acknowledgements if free, or I  and  other could give links to excellent art sites and photo services to add as my contribution, as an incentive to check out the links above, let me know if this is a good idea? . And if readers like to have copies of my published book, on Smashwords, Message to my Children, vol 2, https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/36119, remember I am a dabbling writer, free, as an extra, and contribute to the American Red Cross, you are more then welcome to them. Let's gather together to share our compassion, our strength, hope, faith and love and positive energies share it with the weak and vulnerable  and fortitude them to become strong once again.

I was thinking of adding an email message here, from author Dawn White, to let people see books but also other items will be available at the awesome auction on the 16th of November under Facebook Events,
Her email to me: Yes ;) I will be donating the ebook, paper back pair of 300 dollar boots And the wedges :)
Author Dawn White  her book is Wingless and Damned http://www.amazon.com/Dawn-White/e/B009R8TZFM,    This reader and blogger  read it and will be posting a review soon. I truly enjoyed it.
